Short 3rd Overall at Thunder Valley!

In front of family and friends, the born and raised Coloradian Andrew Short used a great second place in the second moto to capture third overall on the day at round three of the Pro Motocross Championships in Lakewood, Colorado. The Chaparral Honda rider got a good start in moto one but a tip over and what he called "some bad laps" caused Andrew to fall back to seventh by the end. In the second moto Shorty used his good karma from his friends and family there to ride a solid and steady second place. He held off seperate attacks from Kawasaki's Jake Weimer and Broc Tickle the whole moto to bring home his first podium of the year.

"I love this place and coming back to Colorado is always awesome" says the now living in Texas Short "So many great memories from here, from racing here as a kid and to stand on the podium at the end of the day is all I could ask for."

With the third overall on the day, Short remains fifth in the points but is only four points out of second with nine rounds to go.
