Short 4th Overall in High Point

At the famed and historic track of High Point, team Chaparral Honda's Andrew Short raced hard to a fourth place overall on the day. In the first moto a great start left Short battling with the leaders for most of the race before settling for a fourth. In the second moto it wasn't the start that he wanted but Andrew worked hard for the entire moto before crashing right in front of his team manager Larry Brooks. An eighth in the second moto was the best that he could do after thirty minutes plus two laps.

"This definitely isn't one of my favorite tracks so I'm happy to get a fourth overall here today" said Short after the race "I'm bummed that I lost points on the two riders in front of me but happy that it wasn't too bad for me. I'll just buckle up and work hard this week and get ready for Budds Creek this weekend"

With the fourth overall, Shorty remained fourth in the points in the very competitive 450 class.
